Introduction
Located in the picturesque heart of New Brunswick, Canada, School District 17 encompasses Canada's model town of Oromocto, (including Oromocto First Nation, Canadian Forces Base Gagetown), and the communities of Burton, Coles Island, Geary and Lower Lincoln, villages of Cambridge-Narrows, Chipman, Fredericton Junction, Gagetown and Minto.
School District 17 has 18 schools, 5200 students and a total staff complement of approximately 625.
